What an honor it was for members of the Lakehead Rotary Club, joined by friends from other local Rotary clubs, to tour the beautifully refreshed Regional Food Distribution Association facility in Thunder Bay. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this renewed space represents more than a renovation. It is a welcoming community hub designed to support local initiatives, foster learning and encourage collaboration.
The organization has thoughtfully reimagined its building to better serve the people of Thunder Bay and the surrounding region. The updated facility now features inviting meeting rooms, a fully equipped commercial kitchen and flexible spaces that community groups can use for gatherings, workshops and events. Every corner reflects a commitment to strengthening the connections that make our community vibrant.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Tanner and George from the Regional Food Distribution Association for offering such an insightful and generous tour. Their enthusiasm and passion for the work being done made our visit especially meaningful.

Lakehead Rotary is grateful to have the privilege of utilizing this beautiful space for our club meetings every second Thursday. It is a place that inspires purpose and reminds us of the power of working together.
If you are interested in joining us for a meeting or learning more about the work we do, please reach out and we would be delighted to welcome you.
