September is Basic Education and Literacy Month for Rotary International, and what better time to celebrate the power of learning than right now.
The Lakehead Rotary Club is proud to donate $5,000 to the Waverly Library Capital Fund, helping to create a welcoming and inspiring children’s section. This space will be designed to spark curiosity, imagination, and a lifelong love of reading for the youngest members of our community.
Renovations will take place over the next three years, 2025 through 2027, and we look forward to watching this project grow and blossom, just like the children who will learn and play there.
Together, we are building brighter futures, one book at a time.
