The Christmas season in Thunder Bay always begins with the Rotary Santa Claus Parade. It is the moment when the air feels a little more magical, when families gather along the streets, and when children’s eyes sparkle with wonder as they wait to see Santa ride by. Yesterday, the four Rotary clubs of Thunder Bay came together to share the exciting news. Lakehead Rotary, Fort William Rotary, Port Arthur Rotary, and Rotaract are proud to carry on this 33 year tradition with the help of Canadian Tire, our generous title sponsor, and all of the many sponsors and volunteers who make this celebration possible.
The parade is more than music and floats. It is the sound of laughter, the sight of little ones bundled up with hot chocolate in hand, and the joy of neighbours greeting each other with holiday cheer. It is a gift we give each other as a community. On Saturday, November 15, 2025, the streets of Thunder Bay will once again be filled with the magic of Christmas. We encourage businesses, organizations, and community groups to join in this free event and share in the spirit of the season by adding their own touch of holiday cheer to the parade.
