Spirit of Thunder Bay

A Little Mystery. A Wee Dram. A Spirited Evening.
Some things are better left a mystery. A good Scotch, however, deserves to have its secrets revealed.

There’s something rather intriguing about a fine Scotch. The history behind the bottle, the stories hidden in every sip, and the surprising flavours that reveal themselves when you least expect them.

Welcome to Spirit of Thunder Bay, Lakehead Rotary’s signature Scotch tasting experience, where a little sophistication meets a whole lot of fun!

Whether you're a seasoned Scotch enthusiast or someone who couldn't tell a single malt from a mystery in a glass, you're in for a treat. With the guidance of our knowledgeable Scotch expert, you'll discover the fascinating stories, traditions, and secrets behind some exceptional selections. And who knows? You might just discover a new favourite.

Of course, there's more to the evening than what's in your glass. Delicious appetizers, lively conversation, a little friendly competition through our live and silent auctions, and a room full of people who know how to enjoy a wonderful night out.

But here's the best-kept secret of all...

Behind every pour is a purpose. Spirit of Thunder Bay is one of Lakehead Rotary's signature fundraising events, helping support local organizations and initiatives addressing food insecurity and poverty in our community.

So gather your friends, bring your curiosity, and prepare for an evening that's equal parts education, entertainment, and indulgence.

Some secrets are worth sharing. Some spirits are worth savouring. And some evenings are simply too good to miss.

Mark your calendars and save the date!
