We’re pleased to welcome a guest speaker from the John Howard Society of Thunder Bay & District to share a closer look at the important work happening right here in our community.
For decades, the organization has helped individuals facing barriers connected to the justice system through housing, employment, education, life skills and reintegration supports.
Join us to learn how second chances, practical support and a little belief in someone’s ability to move forward can help build stronger individuals and, ultimately, a stronger community.

![]() On Friday, October 23 at 9:00 AM, Rotary will join the City of Thunder Bay at City Hall for an End Polio Proclamation and Flag Raising in recognition of World Polio Day.
More than raising a flag, this is an opportunity to raise awareness. For decades, Rotary members around the world have worked toward the goal of eradicating polio, and this local event is a visible reminder that the work continues. It is also a chance to share Rotary’s story with our community and show what can happen when people come together behind a common purpose.
