Paul Harris Fellowship Award

On Feb. 23, 1905, Paul Harris, a Chicago attorney meet with some friends and formed the first Rotary Club.  His vision was that "professionals with diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas, form meaningful, lifelong friendships, and give back to their communities".  The Paul Harris Fellowship Award was established to recognize individuals who exemplify the characteristic of Paul Harris and donate $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation.  Today, Karl Ratz, who has a passion for Foundation, had the honor of presenting a second Paul Harris Fellow to long time Rotarian Ken Boshcoff.
